Most parents work hard with their children to teach them and coach them to take turns and to share. I would go so far as to say that some parents go almost blue in their face or can carry around a tape recorder (Don't know what that is? Really? You don't? Don't make me explain it to you.) with a pre-recorded message with the encouragement to their offspring to do so. I would venture to say that there are some exceptions in which we would prefer that our children do not take turns and do not share. Within the family or outside. Stomach bugs to name one arena. Keep 'em to yourself. Just get rid of 'em. Go ahead. Waste 'em. (Other areas, no? Trying to get them not to waste and to complete things they started. I say, "Go ahead! Lose it baby! Be a slacker when it comes to a stomach bug.") Tex (aka "Frodo") got a fever tonight. Oh, I praaaaaaaay that his tummy stays strong. Stay strong baby. Stay strong! - it's blahg! mb |
